Tuition

The Center has competitive weekly rates for child care. Financial assistance is available.

Tuition rates for 2008-2009 are as follows.

Day Care:

  • Infant I: 200.00/ week
  • Infant II: 190.00/week
  • Toddler I: $171/week
  • Toddler II: 170.00/week
  • Preschool I: 145.00/week
  • Preschool II: 145.00/week
  • Pre-K: 145.00/week
  • Daybreak (full/part time): 145.00/week for full time

Financial assistance may be available.

Tuition includes:

  • Infants--diapers, wipes, formula (milk plus iron), baby cereal and baby food (grind our own from regular menu)
  • Toddlers--diapers, wipes, breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack
  • Preschoolers-breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack

Weekday Preschool:

  • Tues/Thurs: $116/month ($99/month for church members)
  • Mon/Wed/Fri: $152/month ($129/month for church members)
  • Mon-Friday: $225/month ($191/month for church members)

 

Hours and Holidays:

FUMCC is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Center observes the following holidays:

  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving and the following Friday
  • Christmas Eve through New Years day
  • Martin Luther King's birthday
  • Good Friday
  • Memorial Day
  • July 4th

Additionally, the Center will be closed for two consecutive weeks in August to accommodate annual cleaning and repairs.

In addition to these days, if a child is absent for an illness, holiday or vacation for an entire calendar week, the tuition will be reduced to 1/2. Tuition will not be discounted on a day to day basis, only by the week. During the school year (September to May) there is a maximum allowance of 4 weeks at 1/2 price. During the summer session, there is a maximum allowance of two weeks.

Tuition is charged for holidays so teachers can receive pay for these days. However, if the Center is closed for vacation days (in August, the Friday after Thanksgiving, and non-holiday days over Christmas break) tuition will be reduced by the appropriate number of days for that week.
